Functional at first... I purchased these shorts to wear under cotton dresses and skirts in the summer time. I wanted something a little smoother and a little lighter-weight than other SPANX I had purchased in the past, but I still wanted the chafing protection. The very first time I wore them, they worked perfectly and were exactly what I wanted. However, by the second wear, I was a little disenchanted. Now I hardly ever wear them. They stretch out lik e nobody's business, even after they have been washed, and although I have not had any problems with the top rolling down, I have had pervasive issues with the bottoms rolling up and in (i.e. up the insides of the thighs). This completely nullified the entire reason I bought them: chafing protection. So, upside: they are exactly as described: smooth, comfortable, and a nice light-weight alternative to traditional SPANX. Downside: Major rolling issues between the thighs. Overall, I would not reccomend these for everyday wear. December 1, 2012

Disappointed I bought my normal size, and like the style of fabric. But those girl short are to loose on me, and give you no support where I need it, my belly . After a few hours, they ride and roll down. Not happy, I wish I could take them back. I should have purchased the cognito mid-thigh bodysuit, which i wear all the time. May 19, 2011
