Runs Small, but Beautiful

This dress is so, so beautiful in person, but it runs small. If you buy it and you're not really toned in your midsection, plan to buy some spanx. Or a couple of sizes larger. It seems to want to hover around your stomach. I feel quite sure that the model in the picture is wearing a couple of sizes bigger than normal.
The other problem is that it stains easily, but it falls apart in the wash after a couple of times. (If it says to dryclean only, disregard this. I always wash my clothes anyway.)

I really love the color and the neckline of this dress. It drapes well. Then you get to the area that needs room (hips) and it is TIGHT. I hold up the sides of the dress and it's a straight dress, not at all A-line. If they had this dress fuller through the hips, it would of been ideal. The length was good, the fit in the shoulders was good, but that's it. It does feel like silk but if you hate ironing, this is not the casual look for you.

Pretty, BUT...

I bought this dress in a pinch for a holiday party because it was cheap. First of all - good luck ironing it. It took me forever and super careful hands. Once I put it on, it fit well (I usually wear between 16 and 18, and I erred on the side of 18), but the seams around the bust area are not so great...if you have bust. I bet that if I didn't have a 40 DDD chest, it wouldn't have looked as odd as it did. I wore a black shrug anyway, but I had to keep it over my chest because it looked like I was FREEZING cold and nursing without a bra underneath.
The color is pretty, and the idea is good, but the dress was not so great. The model in this picture must b wearing it about two sizes too big, because the bottom fit almost like a pencil skirt as well.
Overall, it barely worked, and was barely worth the $20 I paid.

Like it, but....

Still wrestling whether to keep this one! It is truly A-line and the sash is weird looking if you're short! In addition, the darts at the top make my breasts look a little weird, may go try a smaller size. The colr is beautiful and the fabric, just fine for here in Florida. I do worry too, about wrinkles. You have to try it! If you're the right shape, this dress could be great! I just think I'm too short and have no hips! Very comfortable and looks great on my arms!
