Garment Lengths
To help you determine if a garment will fit your body, we provide the length or inseam on each product page.


To determine the length of tops, we measure from the high point of the shoulder to the hem.

To determine the length of skirts, we measure from the waist to the hem.

To determine the inseam of bottoms, we measure from the center of the crotch down the inside seam to the hem.

All measurements are approximate. Since all our measurements are taken on size 18 garments, they will vary slightly on other sizes.

Sizing Charts
Lane Bryant sizes range from women’s size 12 to 32. Our standard Lane Bryant sizes are cut for a woman with a height of 5' 6". Lane Bryant petite sizes are cut for women 5' 4" or under, and Lane Bryant tall sizes are cut for women 5' 8" or taller.

When a sizing chart is available, you’ll find a link to it directly on the product page. The link is located above the "To Order" information, to the right of the product photo.

Here are some tips for measuring:


If possible, have a friend measure you.

Measure yourself twice for accuracy.

Remove your shoes for accuracy.

Be sure to measure over the undergarments that you are most likely to wear with the item you are ordering.

Be sure the measuring tape is straight, but not tight. You should be able to breathe.

Measure around the fullest part of your bust. Your bust measurement will determine what size your top is.

Measure around the narrowest part of your natural waistline.

For the inseam, measure inside the length of your leg from your crotch to the floor.

If your measurements fall between sizes, it is best to order one size up.



How to Measure

Bust: Measure under arms around fullest part.
Waist: Measure around narrowest part of natural waistline.
Hips: Measure around fullest part of lower hip.
Inseam: Measure inside length of leg from crotch to floor.

Online Payment
You may pay for your online purchases with your Lane Bryant and Lane Bryant Outlet, Visa, MasterCard, Discover or American Express credit cards. You may also redeem any Lane Bryant, Fashion Bug or Catherines Gift Cards. Sorry, checks are not currently accepted at our online store.

We cannot process gift cards issued by Visa, MasterCard, Discover or American Express. If you try to place an order using one of these gift cards, it will fail. However, your funds will be authorized. To avoid having to contact Customer Service to remove the authorization, please do not attempt to use a gift card issued by Visa, MasterCard, Discover or American Express.

Sales Tax
We are required by law to collect all sales taxes based on where your order is being billed or shipped. When you review your order total during checkout, you will see the amount of sales tax that will be charged to your credit card. This amount will reflect the applicable state and local taxes.

Paying by Check
Personal checks are always accepted with photo identification. Acceptable forms of ID are a valid driver's license, military ID or permanent state-issued ID. Returned checks will be charged a fee of $25 or the maximum allowable in your state.

Shipping Options
Lanebryant.com ships orders to any address in the United States, including Alaska and Hawaii. We also ship to Puerto Rico, the U.S. Virgin Islands, Guam and APO addresses for no additional cost. (Sorry, no international orders, except Canada. Canadian customers click here for Canadian shipping information.)

Orders outside the continental U.S. will be shipped via USPS Priority Mail and will be received within 3–5 days from the ship date. We do not offer overnight shipping options to locations outside the continental U.S.

For all other locations, you may choose from standard (4–8 business days), express (next business day by 12 P.M., no weekends), priority 2nd day (2 business days, no weekends) or overnight (next business day by 12 P.M.).

USPS First-Class Mail® (Gift Card–only orders)
An order shipped via First–Class Mail will be delivered in two to five business days if we receive it before 3:00 P.M. ET (12:00 P.M. PT). Please note, if you place your order on a Thursday or Friday, you will probably receive it the following week. USPS delivers First–Class Mail and does not deliver on Sundays. Please note, if you make a purchase and pay for it with a Gift Card, you are not entitled to free shipping.

Standard
An order shipped via standard service will be delivered in four to eight business days if we receive it before 3:00 P.M. ET (12:00 P.M. PT). Standard service orders are delivered by the USPS and include Saturday delivery.

Express
An order shipped via express service will be delivered in two to four business days if we receive it before 3:00 P.M. ET (12:00 P.M. PT). Express service orders are delivered by the USPS and include Saturday delivery.

Priority 2nd day
An order shipped via priority 2nd day will be delivered in two business days if we receive it before 3:00 P.M. ET (12:00 P.M. PT). Priority 2nd day orders are delivered by DHL and do not include weekend delivery. We must have a street address in order to ship a priority 2nd day order. We are unable to deliver to P.O. Box addresses.

Overnight
An order shipped via overnight will be delivered the next business day by noon if we receive it before 3:00 P.M. ET (12:00 P.M. PT). We must have a street address in order to ship an overnight order. We are unable to deliver to P.O. Box addresses. Overnight orders are delivered by DHL.

When your order ships, we will send you a shipping confirmation email with a link to your Shipping ID Number. Use this number to track your delivery status by signing in at lanebryant.com, and then clicking "My Account." From there click "Order Status," then "Order Detail." Please note: Order tracking is not available for Gift Card orders shipped via USPS First–Class Mail®.

Your order may have multiple shipments. You will be charged separately for each shipment, and you will receive a shipping confirmation with tracking information on each shipment. Your total shipping charge is the same whether your order is shipped separately or not. Shipping charges on multiple shipments are prorated based on each shipment's total.

Returns of Purchases Made at Your Local Store
If you're ever unhappy with a Lane Bryant purchase, simply present your receipt at any Lane Bryant store and we'll gladly exchange the item or process a refund in the form of your original payment, whichever you prefer.

With an original receipt, and within 90 days of the original date of purchase, Lane Bryant will provide an exchange or full refund in the original form of payment.

With an original receipt, and after 90 days of the original date of purchase, Lane Bryant will provide an exchange or merchandise credit for the lowest selling price.

Without an original receipt, Lane Bryant will provide an exchange or merchandise credit for the lowest selling price.

A valid driver's license, military ID or permanent state-issued ID is required for all returns.
Please note: Items purchased at a Lane Bryant store may not be returned to lanebryant.com.

Returns of Purchases Made at lanebryant.com
You have two ways to return or exchange merchandise purchased at our online store. Online purchases may be brought to any Lane Bryant or Lane Bryant Outlet store or mailed back to lanebryant.com.

Exception: Maternity and bridal wear must be returned to lanebryant.com. Please use the convenient prepaid shipping label provided with your shipment. Maternity and bridal wear may not be returned to Lane Bryant stores.

Please note:
Items purchased at a Lane Bryant store may not be returned to lanebryant.com. Items purchased at LBCatalog.com may not be returned to lanebryant.com or Lane Bryant stores. If merchandise from LBCatalog.com is shipped to lanebryant.com, all merchandise will be returned to sender without refund.

Returns Via Return Shipment

1. Complete the return slip on your packing slip by indicating the return reason and quantity returned.
2. Use the Return Label from your packing slip to mail your merchandise return.
3. Enclose the unwashed, unworn merchandise with tags attached in the package that was originally sent to you. Include the return slip.
4. Because we cannot assume responsibility for packages lost or damaged in transit, we recommend you insure your package for the purchase price of the merchandise before sending it back to us.
5. Your return will be credited to the credit card used to make the purchase. If you placed an order with a Gift Card, a new E-Gift Card worth the return value will be e-mailed to you. If you placed an order with a Gift Card and a credit card, you will receive an E-Gift Card for the portion of your order paid with the Gift Card, and a credit to your credit card for the portion charged to your credit card on your original order. If you are returning an item from an order older than one year, you will receive a merchandise return credit. Please note: Postage and insurance costs, as well as your original shipping and handling charges, are not refundable.
6. You will receive an e-mail notifying you when we have received your return and credited your account. Please note: It may take up to two full billing cycles for your credit to appear on your credit card statement. If you return an item purchased as part of a multiple discount (such as buy 1, select 1 for 50% off), your credit will be equal to the prediscount price minus a portion of the discount you received as a result of receiving a multiple discount, not the prediscount price of the single item.

Exchanges Via Return Shipment
Follow the instructions for Returns via Return Shipment above. Then place a new order for the desired items at lanebryant.com. Please note: You will be charged for shipping and handling on your new order.

Returns or Exchanges to a Store
Simply take the unwashed, unworn merchandise, the packing slip, and the credit card you used to place the order to any Lane Bryant or Lane Bryant Outlet store. Selected Lane Bryant merchandise cannot be returned if the original tags are not on the garment. If you purchase an item with this tag, all original tags must be attached to the garment in the same manner as originally secured upon return in order for us to process your refund.

Merchandise purchased from Lane Bryant may be returned to any Lane Bryant or Lane Bryant Outlet store, but not to Fashion Bug or Catherines stores.
