Excuse me, Anne, but who are you?

I'm your new friend in fashion. I don't fit the model "standard" but I still look great, thank you very much, because I stay on top of trends and know how to make the most of my fabulous curves. I'm not afraid to ask "What were they thinking?!" and I like to translate runway looks into wardrobe realities. Don't you?

Winter Warm–Up

I can’t believe another year has come and gone! In the spirit of getting a fresh start, I made a list of resolutions I want to stick to. Maybe you did too? I hope so, because I’m going to need a support system of fellow “resolutionaries” to help me reach my goals.

Here’s a peek at my resolutions:

  1. Get to the gym. My pals at LB have my back with great activewear. I need a good sports bra, of course, and some great basic pieces to get me started off right.

  2. Freshen up my work wardrobe. Since I meet clients a lot I need to look the part. I’ve decided that a good patterned jacket will get me more bang for my buck. I can dress it up for a meeting with clients, or dress it down with jeans or matching pants when I’m at the office.

  3. Try something new. You know I’m all about the trends, so I’ve snapped up a few new tunics. But sometimes I hear from other fashion fans who wonder if they can pull off this look. (We all love the way tunics look on tall women, but we’re not all tall!) To get a tunic to work on a shorter torso, add a belt to define your waist. Or even wear it as a dress (with appropriate hosiery of course).

I wish you all the best in ’07. I have a feeling it’s going to be a great year!

Anne
