The quintessential work skirt

This is the best thing I've bought in a while. As soon as I opened the package I tried it with everything in my closet...a crisp white shirt and pearls, a tan sweater with a fur collar, even a casual tee with a cropped leather jacket. You will wear this all season long...no all YEAR long! Sandals, boots, pumps, flats all look great with it because it's the perfect length (I'm 5'7 and it comes about a quarter of an inch above my knee). Material is great, too. Feels much more expensive than it is and is a great weight; light enough for warm weather but heavy enough to wear with tights in the winter. Pick one up now, you won't be disappointed.

I LOVE this skirt. I have the jacket and slacks. I probably will never wear them together unless I have a job interview but I am in love with dark navy with a white pinstripe. So classic. I love this with lavendar, blue-gray, white, anything. I went up a size on the skirt and wear it just below the waist. It's long enough to wear with tights and boots in winter. It makes my butt look like my best feature (which it is not). If you get any of these blue pinstripe pieces you will not be disappointed. The fabric is rich, strechy, sexy. The cut is great. I did go a size up on the jacket and pants as well. The pieces are classic and you will wear them for years to come.

Classic work skirt - Perfect!!

I purchased this skirt after trying it on with the Tiger Lily 3/4 sleeve cardigan (which I also bought). A friend of mine has a classic navy pinstripe skirt that she styles in all sorts of ways and when I saw this one and tried it on, I was very excited at the thought that now I can do the same. This is a classic skirt which will be perfect in the workplace. Rather than wear it with the matching blazer in my business casual workplace, I will more likely wear it with printed cardigans or blouses because the stripe is muted.
The material has a nice stretch and feels good on the body. I stayed true to size (16) though it is slightly more snug than the typical LB skirt. It is a nice length that doesn't ride up too much when you sit down. It is fully lined and will be perfect with the Tiger Lily cardigan and a nice pink cami.
