I purchased this dress online despite some of the negative reviews. While I loved the bold blue color and contrast of the aqua lining seen through the bottom, I felt the fit of the bottom skirted portion was unflattering. It made by midsection appear larger giving that "pregnant look" that no plus size woman wants. However the suplice top accentuated my cleavage in a very positive way. So I'm still hanging on to it trying to decide whether to keep or return this one...

Flattering for apple-shaped girls!

I love, love this dress. I found it to be very flattering for an apple-shaped figure. It plays up your bodice nicely (beware you will need a plunge-friendly bra) and it hides a tummy nicely under the empire waistline. The color is gorgeous and the teal underskirt that peeks through the eyelets is a nice touch. Incredibly comfy too. This is a summer-night-out-on-the-town dress though, I would consider this too racy for work with the plunge neckline. I agree with other reviewers, sizes run a tad big. However, as long as your bust fits in the dress nicely, the waistband is stretchy and the straps are adjustable, so it's easy to wear this dress up or down a few pounds.

Wonderful blue color, fits big!

I love love love the color of this dress! But the fit is very big. It runs at least one size large, I would recommend sizing down on this one. Even sized down it's a bit poofy, but I like that. It's comfy and pretty at the same time. When sized down a size or 2 depending on where you carry your weight, it's a keeper! If you carry all your weight in your hip area, you could go down 2 sizes as it's super roomy there. Otherwise sizing down 1 size should be good.

This dress is perfect for summer, it's cute and comfy. I actually wore it to my graduation. It was a cute pop of color once I unzipped my gown, you will need a cami under this dress unless you like your breast out.
