Shirred Side Sexy Shirt
love this shirt!
I am barely able to wear Lane Bryant tops.. they tend to run a bit too loose for me. I like to try them because I am broad shouldered, busty and my waist isn't very small. So, I try the 14/16's and get the ones that are a bit more fitted. If you fit this category, then this top is for you! It is incredibly flattering. I tried the black on in the store and loved it so much that I ordered the white.
Give it a try if you are built like me.. I am 5'8" and weigh 176

This shirt runs way too small. I ordered a size up because of the buttons, just in case, and it still doesn't fit me right. The arms are too tight as well. I'm going to hold onto it because I'm losing weight, but disappointing nonetheless.

As other reviewers have said - this shirt runs small. I normally wear a 14/16 and this shirt could barely button across my chest which is a B cup.
From the side profile the gaping between the buttons was horrendous.
The arm holes are way too small. My arms fit but were snugged in and it just felt uncomfortable. I could never wear this top buttoned up like in the photo. So if you have larger arms then this is not the shirt for you.
The buttons were another problem. They are so tiny and made it difficult to button them up. Maybe my long nails created more of an issue than there really was. But I've never had a problem buttoning up shirts or pants for other pieces of clothing. Just be aware that the buttons are small.
If you size up you will get around the small size issue, but the small arm holes and micro buttons would still be an issue.
The colors are nice and vibrant but the sizing is just terrible.

First Button down I've loved in years
I am a big casual wear kind of girl- but I've been looking recently to step up my professional wear. This shirt fits perfectly- its sturdy, well made, and vibrant. (*I bought the red, blue, and white- great high saturation in color*). The shirring is so forgiving on a girl with a fully belly like mine- and it runs a little longer. This shirt also has a little stretch in it- so it will be forgiving on multiple body types. The only complaints i have are small ones- I wish the first button was set a little lower so I'd have a more open neckline. I wish it was JUST a smidge shorter, as I'd like it to easily tuck if I want, and it land a little weirdly against my low belly. Also- the silver buttons look nice, and dressy- but I'd prefer if they were instead the same color as the shirt- I would love to feel like I could wear that read shirt with gold accessories and not clash. Over all though- a great shirt, and worth the money I paid. Caution! Runs a bit on the smallish side for lane bryant- especially in the arms when you wear it like the model does- sleeves rolled. In the great soft-sided button down lane bryant had last year- I took a 14/16. I am very solidly an 18/20 in this. It looks pretty tailored too.
