Printed ruched dress
Overall Cute and Unique Dress
I really LOVED this dress when I saw it on the website. It reminded me of a Starry Night inspired piece the way the colors were layered together so I was excited to get it.
However, the size I got is a bit too snug for me., which is weird since I just purchased other dresses in the same size. Maybe because of how it's fitted? I'm not sure. Wish it came in a size up than the one I ordered. I think the 2nd size up would just be too large.
The strings that people are complaining about, are findable but I do think they get a bit lost in the overall design of the dress. Because of the gatherings on the dress is 'hides' well any worry spots in the stomach area and it is very flattering..even if it is a bit too tight to wear at this exact moment. lol

Fit for a modern dancing queen
This dress has tempted me online for a long time, but when I tried it on in the store, I loved it. The cut is flattering for a night out on the town.
Definitely a dress with cleavage, but the skirt length is modest, and the wide straps balance out the low cut neckline. The lining provides some stretch - just enough to stay in place but move with your body movements.
I'm petite, usually wearing a Lane Bryant 16 (despite fitting the size chart as an 18), I went down to a size 14 for the right fit on this dress: a complete surprise!
As some reviewers mentioned the tacking stitches in the ruching are obvious in person, but the design & color is still gorgeous. One gentleman on the dance floor thought my dress would be velvet - so I think the unique pattern creates some nice visual illusions, emphasizing & concealing curves in a great way.

Poor Workmanship is the word!!!
Looks great at a distance but once you get up close what a wreck. Really sad to walk away from this dress but wow the stitching on this is awful.

WHAT'S WITH THE BLACK THREAD
I really do love this dress, but I cannot get past the black thread that stick out. If you zoom on the picture you will be able to see, however in person it's very obvious. I have no idea why grey or even a blue thread was not used to create the pleated effects. Sending it back and I'm so disappointed it really is a pretty fitting dress.
