Asymmetric peasant top
missed the mark
I tried this one in the store on two separate visits, hoping for a different outcome the second time. I Loved the neckline and the sleeves, but the drop waist didn't work well for me. It hit me in the wrong spot and accentuated all of those things I don't want to call attention to.

Liked, but couldn't get used to the neck line
I knew the neck line was 'asymmetrical' when I purchased it, but it ended up fitting me oddly. Where it was supposed to 'drape' to one side, it just kind of bunched and seemed to draw your eye in to that.
The rest of the fit was phenomenal- the sleeves were flowey and the length was great (hit right about the hip and covered the belly nicely) but I just couldn't get use to the neckline so I returned it.

Probably wouldn't have ordered this online but I tried it on in the store on a whim. I have a very large chest and often find that draping and "U" shape necklines make my chest seem even larger! But this was actually pretty cute. I wouldn't declare it my favorite shirt of the season, but it's cute enough to add to my collection. The shirt itself is sheer and comes with a VERY sheer cami. But between the two you are covered in all of the important areas. I recommend detaching the cami so everything will lay properly. (I think the cami is attached to prevent loss or theft.) The draping helps camoflouge a tummy too. I purchased this in the Limeade, again...not my usual color but flattering on my skin tone (similar to the model pictured). Plus I'm seeing that bright lime color everywhere this spring! Definitely worth a try.
