I am a 40DDD, so I was a bit skeptical that this bra would keep the girls where I wanted them. This bra exceeded expectations. The lift and support is great while not pushing the girls directly under my chin. My breasts are fuller on top and I tend to have a problem with the dreaded overlap (aka: the split boob). Not an issue with this bra, I own 3 of them now and love them!

Fabulous Summer Bra!

I am a HUGE fan of the Smooth Balconette Bra but I went out on a limb and decided to order the Unlined Cotton Balconette. It was the best choice I have made in the way of comfort! Being large busted (38F) summertime can be a bit miserable.. But with this cotton bra, I feel cool and the underwires are non binding. My clothes still look good and my blouses still don't bunch. So Ladies, if you were hesitant - please indulge yourself!!!

I only buy my bras at the buy 2/get 2 semi-annual sale at LB...and this year I stepped outside of my comfort zone & purchased the unlined cotton balconette...AMAZING! I got my bras home & was going to try them all on for size. This was the first one I tried on & I never made it to the other 3 I ordered, as it was way too comfortable to take off! I am a 38G/H (depending on the style)...and I rarely/never say a bra is comfortable...but this is absolutely, just WOW! No underwires digging in, no riding up of the back strap, no slipping shoulder straps, & did I mention it is comfortable?!? This is now my favorite bra. The only downside I can see, because it is unlined, maybe not a t-shirt bra (brrrrr)... :) Still LOVE it!!

Can be a good workout bra

I'm thrilled with the development of a cotton Balconette because I adore the original Balconette (smooth and lace)! I actually bought this one to use as a workout bra---for strength training and treadmill/elliptical workouts. I'm a 38G and I think it does a great job for my purpose. When I advance to any Zumba or Yoga class I'll have to get a real sports bra, tho. The cups on mine do wrinkle a bit, but I'm also older and have more fullness at the bottom of my breasts, so I don't think that's a design flaw; it's just me (doesn't happen in my other Balconettes). The cotton is comfortable and washes beautifully (no dryer!) and I will say that the band was suprisingly tight the first few times I wore it, but I'm glad for that, since it's cotton and will eventually "relax". I will buy more when there is more color variety in my size.
