Not what I expected, either.

Perhaps because I heeded other reviews to order up because the arms might fit too tight, I did and I was disappointed with the over all fit. It's an airy but heavy knit and the arms hung loosely and were too heavy to stay pushed up. I am 5' 3", a 60+ yr old saggy bat-winged armed woman and this was just too heavy for what I wanted.
I liked the length, I would define this as a longer-length shrug loose-knit sweater.
lol, maybe these models are too darn cute and not the usual body-shape of most less-than-smooth Lane Bryant patrons that have weird added "shaping" areas that perplex the online shopper. I've lost 39 lbs. in the last two years and have had to guesstimate my LB size, especially in bottoms, but I keep coming back to LB for a valid reason. I hope that reason will not disappoint me, although "slim-fit" capris have not lived up to their description in years. The bottom hem tends to "bell" out horridly.

I ordered this sweater to wear over the mandarin red tank with ruffle. When I tried this on it was too bulky and stretchy. It didn't do justice to my figure and was too hot for the current weather. I wish that there was a Mandarin Red shrug, something light weight to go over the ruffle tank. The Mandarin Red shrug that was available sold out. Tangerine is a hot color for summer according to the fashion mags, but there doesn't seem to be a lot available from Lane. I LOVE orange!

I bought this in the orange - it is very bright. Not usually a fan of orange clothes, but this is just beautiful. Also bought the leaf tank to go with....very cute. I also went up a size. Nice loose weave to wear during summer months to layer without the weight.

Nice but a little bright

I really do like these cardigans. I got one in each color. The brown color is very nice and looks great with the green leaf tank. The orange on the other hand, is a bit fluorescent. I feel like it is the same color as those orange cones on the road. I am wanting to wear it with the white smock shirt shown on the model, but I cannot find that on the website or in stores. Hopefully, I will like the orange one better with the shirt I want
It does run a bit small, especially in the arms. I went a size up because of that.
