How to Measure for Panty Size

Quick tips to get your measurements just right.

  1. Step 1: Measure Your Waist

Bend to one side to find your natural crease. Straighten and measure at this point.

  2. Step 2: Measure Your Low Hip

Stand with your feet together and measure around the fullest part of your hip.

Between sizes? Size down for a more snug fit or size up for a more relaxed fit.

Panty Fit FAQs

  • Why are my panties riding up?

You could be wearing the wrong size or you might not have enough back coverage. If you carry weight at the top of your thighs, we recommend a panty with more room in the leg opening like a Boyshort or String Bikini.

  • Why are my panties rolling down?

Rolling usually means your panties are too small. You should try sizing up or looking for a style with wider elastic at the top. If you carry weight in your midsection, we recommend a panty with a higher rise.

  • Why are my panties falling down?

You could be wearing the wrong style or need to size down. If you’re straighter through your sides and smaller through your hip and booty, we recommend a panty with less coverage in the back that sits below your belly button.

  • Why are my panties giving me a muffin top?

Muffin top happens when your panties hit a soft spot. If they fit comfortably without creeping up or pinching and are still causing spillage, you could be wearing the right size with the wrong rise. We recommend a panty with either a higher or lower rise.

  • How should I wash panties?

To prolong the life of your panties and maintain their shape, we recommend using a mild detergent and putting them in a lingerie wash bag for machine washing. Be sure not to twist or wring them out to dry.

  • What underwear should I wear with leggings?

When wearing tight-fitting leggings, seamless or thong panties are a must. We recommend smoothing silhouettes from our Invisible Edge and No-Show collections or a thong style with barely-there back coverage to avoid visible panty lines (VPLs).
